In 1989, founders Robert and Jane started a small wholesale boutique in the bustling fashion grounds of Downtown, Los Angeles.  The duo took on every challenge together—from keeping an eye on the ever-changing trends, designing all that's new, sifting through mountains of color swatches and fabrics, seeking manufacturers all around the world, organizing and completing all things fulfillment, and most importantly satisfying the customers' fashion necessities.  In 1991, the company became a corporation under Samdae Enterprises, Inc., and three years later LANY was born.
